About the Author




I am a 30 year old from Denton, MD. I graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of  Law in May 2011 with a juris doctorate, where I completed my legal studies which began at Hofstra University School of Law in Hempstead, NY. I graduated summa cum laude from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY in May 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science. There, I was active in the Political Science Department and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Several of my papers have been published including "The Sleeping Dragon," a commentary on the rise of Chinese hegemony in the 21st century and "The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001: Past, present, future, and legacy."I was chosen as one of two students to present papers at the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Forum in 2006, hosted by Hofstra University, where I presented on the failed foreign policy, especially of military intervention, of the Clinton Administration. 

In the Spring of 2005, I had the great honor of interning with the Committee for Education Funding in Washington, D.C., my first experience working on Capitol Hill. In May of 2006, I ran unsuccessfully for the Maryland House of Delegates from District 37B. In the summer of 2009, I interned at the Governor's Delivery Unit in the Governor's Office in Annapolis, MD. In the summer of 2010, I managed the Chris Jakubiak for State Senate Campaign, an unsuccessful campaign for the Maryland State Senate from District 37.

I have been a student of Political Science and government from childhood and seriously began studying, reading, and writing about the topic 13 years ago.

I'm currently employed as an attorney on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and am a resident of Denton, Caroline County, Maryland.
